Project “Equipment expansion”
In addition to the usual support to the Trust for the normal activities such as the clinic, orthopedic workshop, etc., 2010 will be dominated by the expansion of equipment for the clinic Andersen and financing the training of staff.
The new Andersen clinic in Chepchoina opened late 2007. According to Bea this was"her dream come true". This clinic has become so successful that many new patients have found their way to it. This means that some services need to be adapted to be able to meet the high demand without sacrificing quality.
Equipment that is needed:
- Computers, printers and software for efficient patient management
- Blood Analysis Equipment
- Hot water boilers
- Air conditioning for the mortuary
- Cleaning Equipment
- Hospital furniture such as incubators, birthing, baby cots, IV poles
- Physiotherapy equipment
- Training for three nurses
To finance this project we ask everyone who cares about the SOK for a monetary contribution to enable these purchases. As directors, we are also trying to obtain grants from donor organizations.
